WATCH Full Fight: Bukom Banku v Ayittey Powers in Kumasi #RepeatOrRevenge

Controversial and loudmouthed Ghanaian pugilist Braimah Kamoko, known in boxing circles as Bukom Banku on Boxing Day, December 26, 2015 outclassed Ayittey Powers in their rematch at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The bout dubbed ‘Repeat Or Revenge’ sponsored by Joy Dadi Bitters with support from Landmark Productions and powered by Live Wire Events led by D-Black was an improvement of the first bout in Accra in 2014.

The people of Kumasi and its environs came in their numbers to the Kumasi to witness the fight that was won via a technical knockout in the 6th round.

Prior to the main bout, there was some undercuts which included boxers from other parts of Africa; Benin and Nigeria. The event also saw wonderful performances from Pop Skinny, Kwaw Kese, D-Black, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Efya who sang the Ghana National Anthem.

Bukom Banku was in his usual best form but relaxed as he dictates the pace of the fight, Ayittey Powers as compared to the first bout had improved drastically. However, an injury to his right chest prevented him to seek the revenge that he needed.

For winning the fight, Bukom Banku takes home an SUV Range Rover, a ticket to South Africa and a cash prize of Ghc100,000.
